One round of Sunday Chop · Demo
Classic Chop with Standard Lines and Pick Priority: what every new league starts with. Step through it, or tap any stage.
Registration
Players join with the commissioner’s invite link until the registration deadline. No picks are open yet.
- The commissioner chose the chop and the spread option when creating the league, and can change them until Round 1 starts. From then on they’re fixed.
- Seats can be added two at a time, up to 12, until registration closes.
- Round 1 needs at least 5 players with confirmed play balances, and starts only after registration closes.

Rank your own picks.
Pick up to four lines in order, then resolve. You’re #3 of 6 against the same five private rankings, and the result comes from the same rules the league room uses. Try ranking only Wolves −3.5 to see a fallback.
Point Bank: buy points, earn them back.
In a Point Bank league each player gets a bank of spread points for the whole chop. The numbers below come from the rules engine.
Buy a safer line
Take an alternate spread better than the posted one. It costs its movement: Wolves −3.5 to Wolves −2 costs 1.5 points, at a worse price.
Earn on a riskier line
Take an alternate spread harder than the posted one. It can earn its movement: Ironmen −6.5 to Ironmen −8 earns 1.5 points, at a better price.
Your bank across three rounds
Fictional linesStarting bank 6.0 / 6

- Round 3Foxes −2 (+105)Posted: Foxes −1 (−110) · GAVE 1 POINTBank full — 0 addedBank 6.0 to 6.0
Round 3’s riskier line still gets its better price, +105, but a full bank adds nothing: the bank never goes above its starting size.
Partial room
Stags −4 (+125) instead of Stags −2.5 (−115), with 5.5 in a 6-point bank.
Banked +0.5 · 1.0 excess not banked
It gives 1.5 points, but only 0.5 fits, so the bank ends at 6.0.

Moneylines and Point Bank
| Moneyline | Posted spread | Point Bank |
|---|---|---|
| Ospreys ML (+120)UNDERDOG MONEYLINE | +2.5 | Point Bank effect: 0 |
| Lynx ML (−105)PICK’EM MONEYLINE | PK | Point Bank effect: 0 |
| Stags ML (−140)FAVORITE MONEYLINE | −2.5 | Used 2.5 Point Bank points |
| Wolves ML (−170)FAVORITE MONEYLINE | −3.5 | Would cost 3.5: more than 3, not available |
| Ironmen ML (−280)FAVORITE MONEYLINE | −6.5 | Would cost 6.5: more than 3, not available |
A favorite moneyline costs the distance from its posted spread to zero, up to 3. Underdog and Pick’em moneylines cost nothing, and in a Standard Lines league they’re the only moneylines allowed.
- Point Bank is optional. Standard Lines is the default; a commissioner who picks Point Bank chooses 3, 6, 9 or 12 points per player (6 by default), for the whole chop.
- Every adjusted line is one the official sportsbook actually offers, at most 3 points from the posted spread, priced −200 or better. Posted spreads and totals cost nothing.
- Only awarded picks change the bank. A ranking, or a choice you aren’t awarded, costs nothing.
- Points earned on a ticket can’t pay for that ticket’s own costs. They count from the next round.
- A push keeps the effect; a true void reverses it, once. A Slice rebuy never refills the bank.
Pick your chop.
The commissioner picks one when creating the league. Every mode uses the same priority order, lanes, fallbacks and Lock.

- Ranked choices
- Rank up to 6. You get the first two still open, from two different games.
- Survive

- Either pick loses, or the ticket is incomplete at Lock: CHOPPED.
A spread and a moneyline of one game count as one game.
Weekend Chop
Survive Saturday. Survive Sunday.

- Each round
- 1 college football pick + 1 NFL pick
- Ranked choices
- Rank up to 4 college + 4 NFL. You get the best one still open from each list.
- Survive
- Neither pick loses.
- Out
- Either pick loses, or the ticket is incomplete at Lock: CHOPPED.
The game’s league decides the list, not the day: a Thursday college game is a college pick.
Slice Chop
First loss, you’re sliced. Rebuy to survive. Lose again and you’re chopped.
1selection per round

- Rank up to 4. You get your highest-ranked pick still open.
- Survive
- Your pick wins, pushes or is voided.
- Out
- First losing or missed-pick round: SLICED. Rebuy once, at the starting play balance, before the next round’s picks close, or you’re CHOPPED. Lose again: CHOPPED.
A rebuy restores your place in the game, never Point Bank points.
Five moments, five different jobs.
Registration, opening a round, ranking, resolving and locking each do one thing.
Registration
- Who
- Players join; the commissioner confirms play balances
- When
- From league creation until the registration deadline
- What it does
- Builds the roster. Seats can be added two at a time, up to 12.
- What it doesn’t do
- Open any picks. No games are on the board yet.
Opening a round
- Who
- Commissioner
- When
- After registration closes (Round 1), or after the last round is settled
- What it does
- Sets the pick deadline and the priority order. Games that kick off after the deadline can be ranked.
- What it doesn’t do
- Award or claim anything.
Submitting rankings
- Who
- Each player, for themselves
- When
- Until the pick deadline
- What it does
- Saves your private list and locks each line’s price and Point Bank cost.
- What it doesn’t do
- Claim a game, block another player, or spend Point Bank points.
Resolving picks
- Who
- Commissioner
- When
- After the pick deadline, or earlier once everyone has ranked
- What it does
- Awards picks in priority order, publishes the Pick Audit and opens fallback picks for anyone left without one.
- What it doesn’t do
- Build tickets or close fallback picks.
Locking tickets
- Who
- Commissioner
- When
- After Resolve. Before the deadline, only once every ticket is complete
- What it does
- Awards waiting fallbacks, builds the tickets once and stakes 25% of the pot, or the share the players still in approved. Nothing can change after.
- What it doesn’t do
- Grade results. Final scores do that after the games.
Your first round.
- Open your invite link.
Enter your name, or create an account to keep your leagues on any device. That’s registration: nothing to pick yet.
- Wait for Round 1.
The commissioner opens it after registration closes. Check your priority number and the pick deadline.
- Rank before the deadline.
Rank more than one pick. Your lines lock when you submit, and nobody else sees your list until Resolve.
- Check your pick after Resolve.
The Pick Audit shows why each choice was or wasn’t awarded. PICK NOT ASSIGNED? Submit fallback picks before Lock.
- Watch your own pick.
After Lock nothing changes. Only your pick decides whether you survive, even when your ticket loses.
Why didn’t I get my #1?
A higher-priority player was awarded the same lane first. You get your highest-ranked choice still open, so rank a few.
Can two players pick the same game?
Yes, in different lanes. One player can take a spread or moneyline of a game and another its total. Both teams’ spreads and moneylines share one lane, and Over and Under share the other.
Who sees my ranking?
Before Resolve, only you. (The commissioner ranks only for players without an account.) After Resolve, the Pick Audit shows league members every evaluated choice.
What does “the line locks” mean?
The spread, total or moneyline and its price are saved when you submit. If the market moves later, your pick keeps the line you took.
What is PICK NOT ASSIGNED?
Every choice you ranked was taken by higher priorities. You aren’t chopped: submit fallback picks from what’s still open before the commissioner locks the round.
Is any of this real money?
No. The Chop Pot is a free play-money simulation. Balances, pots and distributions are fictional, and no wager is placed.
